Kate Moross is a designer and illustrator based in
London. Her Achievements include a
nationwide billboard campaign for Cadburys and a signature clothing range for
Topshop. She has been profiled in Grafik
Magazine, Dazed & Confused, Vice magazine and Creative Review, who selected
her for a Creative Future award in 2007.
Moross specializes in design and art direction for the music
industry. She has worked with Allido
Records, Merok Records, Mystery Jets, Real Gold, designed merchandise for
Simian Mobile Disco, Telepathe, Punks Jump Up, The Teenagers and Les Petits
Pilous. In 2008 Kate Morross was named
at number 18 in the NME’s Future 50 innovators driving music forward.
Moross attended South Hampstead High School and owns and runs
Vinyl only record label, Isomorph Records, set up in order to explore further
the relationship between design and music.
As I research this woman she has a lot going for herself. Topshop
is an online clothing line with accessories, shoes and make up and the list
goes on. Looking at her photos she is young in age and young in her career.
Just to name a few of her achievements Grafik Magazine is a
London based bi-monthly magazine on graphic design and visual culture. Dazed & Confused is a British style magazine,
which was started in 1192 and published monthly. Topics covered include music, fashion, film,
art and literature. Vice is a New York
based American magazine and media conglomerate focused on international arts
and culture. This magazine is also
available in 28 countries. The Creative Review is a monthly magazine targeted
on the commercial arts and design scene.
Creative Review has a circulation of around 20,000 readers. In general
it focuses contents on media origination in UK, Europe, and the United States,
showcasing some of the best contemporary advertising, design, illustration, new
media, photography, and typography.
