John Alvin
John Alvin was more than a painter. The American cinematic artist sharpened his artistic skills at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. Alvin’s fascination with posters landed him the opportunity to work with Mel Brooks. Alvin blew everyone away with his sleek poster of Mel Brooks movie “Blazing Saddles.” From there Alvin’s career took off and he later worked with Steven Spielberg for the movie “E.T.” Alvin did an exceptional job on the “E.T.’ poster and worked on 135 films after. Some of Alvin’s projects: “The Lion King”, “E.T.”, Jurassic Park etc...
Good find... I is great to meet the person behind such iconic objects.
