Bruce Mau, a Canadian designer, was born October 25; 1959.Mau is a founder of Bruce Mau Designs. He studied at the Ontario College of Art & Design in Toronto but then withdrew prior to graduating. He later joined a group called the Fifty Fingers. He then became part of Public Good Design and Communications. He then had the opportunity to design Zone but later establish his own studio, Bruce Mau Designs. He continued to design Zone books until 2004. He continued as the director of Zone Books until 2004. He also served as creative director of I.D. Magazine.
Mau also helped.Sono a company that launched a new –game changing product. Mau help redesigned their brand. Sono is a wireless hi-fi system the redefines the music listening experience for the digital age. The system allow consumers to stream music from anywhere in the world wirelessly, and have music through out ones home without hardwiring.
Sono has redesigned their identity through a multitude of brand touch points, from package design to product catalogues, to point of sale displays and international trade shows.
